Required Counsellor on Part-time basis (One post) on Contract Basis at TISS-Tuljapur Off-Campus. The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (www.TISS.edu), established 1936 is a deemed to be University, fully funded by the University Grants Commission, Government of India. TISS is a Grade I University with NAAC score of 3.89/4 and NIRF 2020 rank of 34 among Indian Universities and 57 overall. With campuses at Mumbai (main) and off-campuses at Tuljapur, Guwahati and Hyderabad, TISS offers over 50 Post Graduate programmes, 18 Doctoral programmes, and 3 Under Graduate programmes in a range of socially relevant inter- disciplinary and applied social science disciplines, and over 30 BVoc programmes. The TISS Tuljapur Campus was established in 1987 with the goals of promoting sustainable, eco-friendly and equitable socio-economic development of rural communities. Through its programmes, TISS Tuljapur seeks to contribute to the revival of the rural economy, society, and polity by encouraging alternatives in development. In order to achieve this, TISS Tuljapur has evolved a four dimensional programme comprising teaching, training, field action and research & documentation. It has built a strong team of multidisciplinary faculty drawn from social work, philosophy, sociology, economics, agriculture, anthropology, psychology, geography and other related disciplines. Presently, it conducts a five year Integrated BA-MA Programme in Social Sciences and MA in Social Work in Rural Development. The TISS, Tuljapur campus request eligible candidates to appear for Walk in Interview on 3rd February, 2023 (FRIDAY) at 2.00 PM. The post will be on Contract Basis for a period of one year and extendable based on performance of candidate and requirement by the Institute.

Education : Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology/Counselling/Counselling Psychology or Master’s in Social Work in Counselling with at least 55% aggregate marks from a recognized University


Experience : Minimum of 2 years of work experience of counselling of which at least 2 years experience of counselling Bachelor’s/Master’s students in college/university.

Remuneration CTC : Rs 30,000/- per month.
