Job Summary : CARE India is implementing a project on improved agriculture and livestock-based production practices in Hazira and Umarpada blocks of Surat district and promoting clean and environment friendly cooking solutions among traditional cookstove dependent households of Umarpada (Surat district) and Subir block (Dang district) in Gujarat.

The Admin & Finance Officer will be responsible for supporting project execution, maintaining MIS, and supporting administrative, financial and procurement functions in the project.

Qualification & Experience

  •  Graduate degree in social work/Social Science/Development Studies/Gender Studies
  • Minimum five years of proven work experience in Project implementation, Finance and / or procurement domains.
  • Prior field experience of Gujarat will be a plus
  • PA should be familiar with gender concepts and issues, especially around women smallholders’ access and control over rights, resources, and opportunities
